1999 E39 M5
When the e39 M5 was released in 1999, it was said to be the hottest sedan ever made by BMW. Possibly the fastest sedan in modern history. The car wasn’t inexpensive but it wasn’t overpriced either. Buying a used e39 M5 is a great reason for not buying a new car, while saving a ton of cash on a car better than many today.
2000 E39 M5
In 2000, the e39 got a few cosmetic improvements, better park distance control and one lighting change that would forever define the e39′s presence at night – a semi circle surround around the self levelling xenon low beam headlight. These have since been named “angel eyes” by the e39 owners and fans alike.
2001 E39 M5
In 2001 BMW kept the 394-horsepower known as the “s62″ the same for the e39 M5. The Beast got a few minor exterior changes outside and a much needed head airbag protection system for rear seat occupants, an improved tire pressure warning system less sensitive to extreme temperatures and upgraded interior amenities.
2002 E39 M5
Many have said that once you drive an E39 M5, you will never want to drive anything else. You can beat a Porsche or take four other adults out for the evening. Maybe do both. Just do it before anyone eats. The 2002 e39 M5 is the second last year this amazing automobile was made with very few changes.
2003 E39 M5
2003 marks the final year that the e39 m5 was produced. It is the year where almost no changes were made on the exterior and BMW’s M Power division design energies were in full preparation for the launch of its successor. What is great about the e39 is that it’s a car with very few bugs and so much to love.
